Who We Are

Her Financial Break-Through (HFBT) is a women-only stokvel established in June 2023 by a group of professional and business women who saw the need for a disciplined, supportive space where women could grow their finances together. What began as a shared commitment to saving has grown into a structured community built on collective contributions, financial support and long-term wealth creation. HFBT operates under a formal constitution, is led by an elected executive committee, and banks through FNB for full transparency on every member's contributions.

HFBT was founded in June 2023 with a formal constitution and terms of reference in place from the start, not added on later.

Led by an elected executive committee

A six-member executive, made up of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and their deputies, is directly accountable to the membership for how the stokvel is run.

Every contribution managed through a well-established bank

HFBT banks through FNB, giving members full visibility and transparency over contributions, pay-outs and stokvel funds.

Working toward NASASA registration

HFBT intends to register with the National Stokvel Association of South Africa (NASASA), strengthening its compliance and standing within the broader stokvel industry.
